June 2015 Favourites!

I think it's safe to say my favourites posts will most likely be showing up in the middle of the next month,
but hey at least I'm sharing what I love...and Barney always said sharing is caring.

So let's dive straight into this shall we? (You may want to grab a cuppa joe and a Cinnabon for this...ooo now I feel like Cinnabon)

I stumbled upon this gem last year and have repurchased it about three times. The Catrice Camouflage Cream in Ivory has fast become one of my daily make up staples. It has brilliant coverage, pesky little pimples don't stand a chance against this cream concealer. It also doesn't crease when I use it under my eyes, so win win with this one!

Prior to picking up this little bottle of darkness, I had never used a MaXFactor nail polish, so I was intrigued to see how Ruby Fruit would hold up against a weeks worth of guitar playing. I'm happy to report that there is not a chip in sight, until about day 5. The polish stays glossy and true to the original colour,  none of that weird fading and colour changing that sometimes happens. Application is seamless and doesn't stain the nails (always use a base coat just to be safe). For me this is the epitome of a warming winter shade.

In winter I struggle to look anything other than pale, pasty and washed out. I was on the hunt for a highlighter that would give me a little glow that would work with my paleness. As usual, Essence came to the rescue with their cream to powder highlighter...

I bought 10 Look on The Bright Side , I like to add a little to the tops of my cheek, my brow bone and I throw a sneaky little bit into the corners of my eyes. It gives you a little glow without looking like a halogen light bulb.

Winter is wreaking havoc with my cuticles, let me tell you. So in order for me to avoid Granpa hands, I have started using Essie's Apricot Cuticle Oil and my little phalanges couldn't be happier. Apricot Oil is brilliant for nourishing and moisturising your skin, so this formula helps keep your cuticles soft and supple, not gross and yuck! The brush allows for even distribution of the product and a little goes a long way.

Lastly on this month's list of loves is Wet 'n Wild's Megaslicks Balm Stain in Lady and The Vamp. My new go to winter shade packed with all the awesome moisturising goodness you could want. For a more in-depth look at this gem, click me!

These are a few of my favourite things (you totally have the Sound of Music song playing in your head now don't you) and the best part is, they all carry a price tag below R 200, so why not spoil yourself?

I'd love to see if you love any of these as well, so feel free to let me know!

Until next time...
