{Unboxing} The Test Box June 2015

So for the first time on the blog I will be doing an unboxing...I freaken love unboxing posts. I'm such sucker for these secret little monthly surprises, probably just because I like presents...even if I've paid for them myself :)

I came across The Test Box when the lovely Chicara from Lipgloss Kisses wrote about it last month, needless to say I signed up immediately.

If you're new to the whole monthly subscription box phenomenon, let me give you the low down on what exactly happens. You find a box you think you would most like to receive (there are quite a few floating around these days), you won't know what you will be receiving in that box for that month, it's a complete surprise. So you sign up, hopefully in the first week of the month the box will arrive and boom, you have a bunch of exciting new products to try out. Obviously there's a lot more to it, but that's a little further down the post

So I headed over to The Test Box (ya can click that) and signed myself up for the next months box. The Test Box has an awesome sign up process, everything is done online, there's no printing and scanning in of forms, it's all digital and you can even have a copy of the agreement emailed to you..I'm a busy girl, this feature appeals to me!

You have the option to choose a 3.6 or 12 month subscription box at just R 160 a month. They set up a snazzy little debit order for you. The R160 not only includes products that aren't readily available in stores, but it also includes delivery...yes you read the correctly...delivery included. There is now also an option to just pay for one months box, payment upfront

So I filled it all out in May and waited for June to come. On June 1st the debit order came off my account and I kid you not, by 10:30am on a Monday morning there was the delivery guy, with my box of goodies...impressed doesn't even begin to explain it.

After ripping the packaging and opening the box this is what was presented to me...

Three 100ml bottles from Paul Mitchell's Color Care range...100ml, not 25ml or 50ml, 100ml.
We received a Shampoo, Conditioner and their Colour Locking Spray. I've made an executive decision to not review the products given each month in the same post as the unboxing, purely because I think the products should be able to stand on their own and I will be putting each of the products through their paces over a two week period to give them a fair trial.

Something Cool: They also have something called The Bro Box, grooming products just for guys. This isn't a monthly subscription, but a once off of R 190, head over to the site to sign up to be notified when the new box will be out!

All products featured in each box are available for purchase on their website, so it really is win win. You try out the products, if you like them, boom you can go buy them!

If you'd like to know what I thought of these guys, keep an eye out on the blog next week for my review.

Until next time...
