{Weekend Wanderings} Teddy Bear Birthday...

I was invited to enjoy a lovely day out at Haartebeespoort Dam to celebrate my good friend's little one's first birthday! Kirsten created a Pinterest worthy Teddy Bear pic-nic party, so I took a few snaps for you to enjoy!

Good Monday morning lovelies, I trust you had a brilliant weekend :)

It's no secret that there is a lot of sadness happening in our beautiful South Africa lately, and for many of us I'm sure we feel helpless with how we can help.

If you would like to help with donations or financially, please head over to Gift of the Givers (click here), but there is also a lot we can do within ourselves. A friendly hello to a stranger, a smile even some spare change can help turn someones day around, give them hope and show them that there are better days in life than all the sadness.

So I am sending out a mission to all of you, do something good for someone else today...and just see how your day changes :)

{Weekend Wanderings}...Avon April Breakfast

I was invited to attend an Avon breakfast by my friend Angel, so I could view what Avon had in store for their April collection.

I'm relatively new to the Avon scene, I've had a few eyeliners here and there and one or two of their eyeshadow duos, but no serious make up investment here. Needless to say, I was excited to see what Avon had to offer and to try out some of their products.

If you're not familiar with what an Avon meet up is like, they are all different as it depends solely on the agent who is selling. I have been to one viewing before this one, and wasn't very impressed as to how things were done...but I know Angel and how she works and was excited to see what she had in store. I wasn't disappointed :)

I have taken some shots for you to see how she did things, so you can get the over all feel of the day. As well as being able to get my grubby little paws on some pre-released April makeup :)

Happy Monday! Did you have a glorious weekend? How crazy was the storm in Jozi yesterday, shoowee!

This week I feel the need to empower myself...life is handing some serious knocks lately, so I'm trying to keep my mind positive, part of my To Do List for 2015, which you can read here!

So these 3 gems will be rotating on my home screen this week, heres to kicking this weeks butt!
